My Teaching Philosophy
I believe that learning English is more than memorizing vocabulary or grammar—it’s about building confidence, fostering curiosity, igniting creativity and connecting across cultures. My approach is student-centered, interactive, and adaptable to each learner’s goals, whether for personal growth, academic achievement, or professional development. I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel empowered to communicate effectively, explore new ideas, and develop lifelong language skills.
My Educational and Teaching Experience
I am a certified English language instructor with TESOL and TEFL qualifications. I earned my TEFL certification while teaching in Vietnam through the Australian National College of Language. In addition, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a master’s degree in Ethical Leadership. My teaching experience includes in-person instruction at VAS Academy in Da Nang, Vietnam, as well as online and face-to-face lessons with learners from around the world, including Mexico, the UAE, and South Korea. I am dedicated to fostering engaging, culturally aware, and student-centered learning experiences that help individuals achieve their language goals with confidence.
The Platform - When, Where and How do Lessons Happen
I offer in person or online lessons via zoom ( online -for one on one only ) at an agreed upon location and time after a one hour consult. Consultations may also be made in person, online or over the phone.
I am based in Ormond Beach, Florida and can accommodate most meet up locations within the city of Daytona.
